The swivel motion is so smooth I find myself spinning in it while watching TV, and the footrest pops out just right for my height. Assembly took me about twenty minutes with the included tools, and the faux leather feels sturdy enough to survive my two cats' claws.

The light brown faux leather looks way more expensive than it was, and the wood base makes it feel sturdy enough for daily use. I've been parking in it every evening with the footrest popped out, and the swivel is smooth enough that I can turn to grab my drink without any wobble.
