Set-up took two of us maybe twenty minutes and the hex shape gives way more headroom than a square canopy. The zippered mesh walls have held up through two windy afternoons, and guests kept commenting on how airy it felt inside.
The mesh netting zips all the way around, so bugs stayed out while we played cards under it during a breezy evening barbecue. Setup was doable with my wife holding one corner while I clicked the frame together, and the hexagon shape gave us plenty of shade for eight chairs.
Took me about 45 minutes to get the hexagon frame up solo, and those six zippered mesh panels do keep the bugs out nicely. That said, the whole thing feels a bit flimsy in a breeze, so I'd only trust it for a calm afternoon party rather than a full day event.
