Took it to the beach last weekend and had it up in under five minutes by myself, which surprised me. The zipper netting kept the bugs out during sunset while the 11x11 footprint gave us plenty of room for two chairs and a cooler.
The zippered netting is the reason I bought this, and it keeps the bugs out without blocking the breeze. I’ve used it twice on windy days and the canopy stayed put, plus it folds back into the carry bag pretty easy. Even got a compliment from a neighbor on the color.
Setup took me maybe ten minutes alone, and the zippered netting kept the bugs off during dinner while the shade held up fine against a light wind. The carry bag makes it easy to toss in the trunk for beach days or park meetups. Exactly the portable shade I needed for this summer.
