The old pad had worn so thin I could feel the springs poking through, but this replacement hugs the frame snugly with no holes needed for the poles. It’s been through a few rainstorms already and the waterproof surface beads up nicely, plus the colors still look bright.
We had a bad storm last week with heavy rain, and the pad stayed firmly in place with zero water pooling on top. The waterproof layer feels thick and the no-hole design for the poles made installation a lot simpler than our old cover. Definitely glad we swapped it out before the kids jumped again.
Fitting this pad over our 14ft frame took maybe ten minutes, and it's snug enough that the wind hasn't budged it. The material feels properly waterproof and tear resistant, and the fact it leaves no holes for the poles means the kids can't catch a toe on anything.
